The Great Escape: Sharon Garden Club Plant Sale

Come rain or shine, this weekend we will all need a reason to get some fresh air...after the week full of gloomy weather. We have a great idea for you!

As my readers may know, I am an avid gardener and believe that it is a great parent-child activity. However, I also believe it is a great solo activity at times as well.  Furthermore, shopping for plants, seeds and seedlings can be quite a hands-on experience and can be much more relaxing and pleasant without your hands full with the kiddos. This Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the Sharon Garden Club is holding it's annual Plant Sale. We try not to send you off too far away because we know your "Me Time" is time-limited and we want to help you make the most of it, locally!

However, the Sharon Garden Club's Plant Sale is an event you won't want to miss, and it is only 20 minutes away on Rt. 27!  With the lousy weather this week, you deserve to pick up some bright and cheery blooms and dynamite veggies to plant.  Start this weekend at the plant sale, and commit to spending time in your own garden on a daily basis, perhaps before work or after, to enjoy watching your plants grow in the warm spring days that surely can't be far away!

The Sharon Garden Club's Plant Sale will be held Saturday, May 21 from 9am-11am at the Sharon Community Center, located on beautiful Lake Massapoag at 219 Massapoag Ave, a great scenic place to take a long walk or run.
