Here are some photos taken from the Pilgrim Church's Pancake Dinner, Tuesday night.
Traditionally on Shrove Tuesday, signifying the day before Lent, people empty out their kitchens of meat, eggs, milk, and fat and all gather around to eat up the ingredients before the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday.
At the Pilgrim Church, in Sherborn, on Tuesday night, several people got together to enjoy a dinner of pancakes, bacon, and sausage in celebration of Shrove Tuesday.
