Water to be Shut Off in Parts of Dover Wednesday

Residents may lose their water for approximately 1-2 hours and may notice discoloration in the water.

On Wednesday, May 2, the Water Department will be replacing a gate valve on the Town’s Water system in Dover center.

The water will be shut down between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for approximately 1–2 hours.

The affected streets are: Springdale Avenue, Whiting Road, Spring Lane, Meeting House Hill Road and Church Street.

Residents on this system may notice some discoloration in water which can be flushed out through a faucet.
