Week In Review: April 25-May 1

Sherborn Town Meeting results, stolen signs, and Lady Raiders lacrosse.

Sherborn's Annual Town Meeting was held this week with the town deciding the fate of several key articles. Funding for the Pine Hill Access Road was once again voted down, the town approved a .75% local meals tax, and the town also approved  the preliminary designs for the Sherborn Library's expansion and renovation plans. Here are the results of the first and second night of Town Meeting.

The race for Sherborn selectmen has been heating up. Dozens of political signs from both candidates, Paul DeRensis and Peter Liffiton, have been  all around Sherborn. Several signs were stolen off of peoples' property and were replaced with the signs of the opposing candidate.

Both DeRensis and Liffiton agreed take part in a debate that will be on Tuesday May 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sherborn Community Center. The debate will be hosted by Dover-Sherborn Patch and the Dover-Sherborn Press.
