More snow, The Secret Garden, a tractor trailer blocking Route 16, and a man who climbed Mount Everest three times.

Dover and Sherborn got hit with yet another snow storm this week. The kids in town were happy because they got another , but as our parenting columnist Jeannie Capone , parents don't get the day off because of the weather.

Sherborn heads of public safety, in a meeting with the board of selectmen, the snow has had on the town and the difficulty of trying to keep the snow from narrowing the sides of the roads.

Sherborn was already over it's for this year before Tuesday and Wednesday's storm. Dover was close to being over budget last week.

After the snow came the rain and cold temperatures, making the and causing flooding in some streets.

On Saturday a got stuck on Route 16 in Sherborn, traffic was down to one lane on Washington Street while Western Avenue was completely blocked off for nearly three hours.

This weekend, Dover teen Katherine Leigh Doherty is playing the lead role in the musical playing at the Wheelock Family Theatre in Boston. Last weekend was the premier of the show and Dover-Sherborn Patch was in attendance.

At the Charles River School on Friday, Ed Wesbter came to the school to give a presentation about his three expeditions up the tallest mountain in the world, Mount Everest. The Lexington native shared his story in hopes of giving the children the confidence to follow their dreams.

On Monday, D-S boys varsity hockey took on Boston Latin Academy in a . Junior forward Jared Spence netted two goals and an assist on the night. The boys varsity basketball team won on Friday , 62-51. Raider junior Chris Flight led D-S with 18 points. Ashland's Tim Juitt led all scorers with 26 points in the game. The win pushes the Raiders record to 9-6 on the season. One more win and they will be eligible for postseason play.
