Save Our Sherborn, census numbers, opiate awareness, and our Pet of the Week!

The population numbers from the 2010 Census were release this week. Dover's population increased from 5,558 (in 2000) to 5,589 (in 2010) a .56% change. Sherborn's population decreased from 4,200 (in 2000) to 4,119 (in 2010) a -1.93% change. Click here to check out some other numbers from both towns.

The ad hoc Save Our Sherborn Committee held an open meeting to an overflow crowd of Sherborn residents in order to give a financial picture of the town and to talk about Sherborn's potential debt. 

study put out this week by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection looked at the levels of naturally occurring arsenic and uranium found in private water wells in a portion of the MetroWest region including Dover and Sherborn. Dover-Sherborn Patch sat down with Sherborn Health Agent Mark Oram to discuss what is done at the town-level by way of testing and awareness.
