Weekend Planner: Oct. 7-9

"She Loves Me," a country western dance and a golf tournament on the calendar this weekend.

The weekend is just around the corner. If the only plans you have are not to stay home because lounging on the couch and watching TV just don’t cut it anymore, then don't worry, Patch is here to assist you! 1.  Country Western Dance

When/Where: 572 Nichols St, Norwood; Saturday, Oct. 8, 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Knights of Columbus Hall will hold a night of food and dancing with a country theme. Music will be provided by Sharon and the Country Edition. Cocktails will be served from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Dinner and dancing will take place from 7 to 11:30 p.m.

2. Woodland Theatre Company Presents “She Loves Me”

Where/When: , 3 Sanger St, Sherborn; Friday, Oct. 7, 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 1 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 9, 1 p.m.

Why Go: The Woodland Theatre Company is proud to present the romantic comedy "She Loves Me" at the Sherborn Community Center Oct. 7-9.

She Loves Me, based on the 1937 play, Parfumerie by Miklos Laszlo, explores love and relationships through pen pals brought together by a lonely hearts ad. Music by Jerry Bock, Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, Book by Joe Masteroff, Directed by Doug Hodge ,Music Direction by Chris Roppola. Due to mature topics, this show is best suited for children age 10 and up.

3.  Bob Marley at Showcase Live

Where/When: , 23 Patriot Pl, Foxborough; Friday, Saturday, Oct. 8, 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Why Go: Comedian Bob Marley will perform tonight at Showcase Live.

Doors open at 6 for 7 p.m. showtime. Seating is first come first seated basis, so be sure to arrive early for best seats and enjoy a full dinner menu.

4.  Jack Devine Memorial Golf Tournament

When/Where: , 3 Walpole St, Dover; Friday, Oct. 7, noon to 7 p.m.

Why Go: Come join in the 14th Annual Golf Tournament, benefiting Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Great prizes, super raffle and auction, chance to win a car. One of the best courses in New England. Event includes light lunch and dinner buffet. Plenty of opportunity for non-golfers to join in and help out.

Pricing: $125 per player / $500 Foursome

5. Orpheum Theatre Haunted House Kiddie Kraze

Where/When: , 1 School St, Foxboro; Sunday, Oct. 9, 1 p.m.

Why Go: Every Sunday through Oct. 30th, the Orpheum Theatre invites children to a Kiddie Kraze Haunted House from 1 to 3 p.m.

Pricing: $5 admission.
