The Dover-Sherborn Girls soccer teams, Varsity and JV have their annual car washes to help fund their teams for the season. This is one of our important fundraisers we do in the community says, Head Coach Dave Wainwright. They work hard on and off the fields to make this year as successful as they have in the past. DSGS comes off a TVL record last year 15-4-3 and this 2013 season they lead the TVL 4-0-0 beating our rivals Medfield with a 1-0 victory. Last year, Medfield was the TVL Champs and State Champs in the Division 2 bracket. DS is currently playing Division 3 and meets opposing teams in the D2 brackets.
With 3 Seniors *Captain Jackie Goudreault, Kasey Huemme and Sarah Tanner, and *Captain Izzy Parizeau, this years DSGS has a lot of work still to come. What are the goals for DSGS? To win another State Championship. DSGS took home States in 2011. They want to do this again this year! Please support our efforts!
The girls have a lot to be thankful for during this season. A young and athletic team, dedicated parents, friends and family as well as Dover-Sherborn's Athletic Department, Heath Rollins, A.D. and Sue Connelly, Assistant A.D. Please look for the girls and get your car washed on Saturday, October 5th and support DSGS!
