Knitting at the Sherborn Library

On November 7th and again on the first Wednesday of each month, from 10:30 to noon, the Sherborn Library will host a series of knitting workshops.  Expert knitter, Louise Basil offers instruction to both beginning and experienced knitters.  Participants are welcome to join any or all of the sessions.

Everyone is welcome, including complete beginners, those hoping to take up knitting again after a long absence, knitters in need help with a difficult project or anyone who simply enjoys the conviviality of sharing this activity.  The group meets by the Library cozy fireplace and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

Knitting warm, comfortable, attractive projects is calming to the mind and soothing to the spirit (and fun!). This class covers needles, yarns and basic stitches with lots of time to practice, ask questions and discover the joy of this ancient craft.
