Greyhound Friends to Hold Annual Fall Open House & Reunion

What better way to enjoy an early Fall weekend than to visit with graceful greyhounds waiting to be adopted into permanent, loving homes. All animal lovers are welcome to spend a few hours meeting greyhounds available for adoption as well as adopted greyhounds and their owners at the Greyhound Friends Annual Fall Open House & Reunion. Greyhounds and Hound mixes from Florida and the Midwest will also be on hand. Dogs can run in our spacious fenced field and participate in the Not Quite Westminster Dog Show.

The two-day event will feature our silent auction and raffle. A yard sale will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday and will continue throughout the day. Animal lovers can purchase early Christmas gifts such as new winter coats and handsome collars for their dogs, and warm sweatshirts and Greyhound Calendars for their dog-loving family & friends.

Greyhound Friends depend on the kindness of supporters and anyone interested in greyhound welfare.  Those attending the event are welcome to bring donations of dog food, rawhides, blankets for bedding and bird food for our bird friends. Financial donations are also appreciated and needed. Greyhound Friends is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and donations are tax deductible. Please call 508-435-5969 or visit www.greyhound.org for more information.
