Dover-Sherborn Girls soccer wins big against Norton!

Dover-Sherborn Girls Soccer starts off the season 3-0-0 defending State Champions!

On Monday, September 10th, the defending State Champions The DS Girls soccer team traveled to Norton to win a big match and to notch a 3rd win of the season.

 

Headed by Head Coach Dave Wainwright (5th season), the DSGS girls are heading into their season 3-0-0.

DS out shot Norton 14 shots to 3.  Senior Captain and Dover-Sherborn's starting goal keeper, #5 Julia Perlmutter had 4 saves in total.  All five goals were scored as a team.

(frosh)#22 Claire O'Callaghan notched the first goal with an assist from (SR)#27 Taylor Coutts.  The second goal was from (SR)#10 Kali Sherburne who was assisted by #11 (soph) Alex White and Kali would also get an unassisted goal in the second half.  Third goal was by (JR)#7 Jackie Goudreault who sailed a goal on a direct kick from outside the twenty yard line and #11 Alex White would also score for the Raiders assisted by (frosh)#30 Molly Doyle.

 

Senior Captains #4 Victoria Ortega and #5 Julia Perlmutter will lead the team to defend the State Championship.

 

Friday night, the DSGS Raiders will host (D2) Medfield at home under the lights on our new turf field with a kick off at 6:30 PM.
