Join the Sherborn Social Club. Newcomers and long time residents alike attend morning coffees, playgroups, ladies’ nights out, guys’ nights out, BBQs, plus the fantastic annual Halloween bash.

Support the local schools. Join one of Sherborn’s many parent organizations or contact your child’s school to learn about the many volunteer opportunities available.

Check out events at the Sherborn Library. From free yoga classes to book club meetings, the Sherborn Library has a wide range of activities to choose from. (The library also provides free or discounted passes to many Boston-area museums.)

Take a hike.  The Trustees of Reservations and Sherborn Forest & Trails Association make it easy to explore Sherborn’s many trails and meet other hikers.

Volunteer at a local nonprofit organization. There are many nonprofit organizations in Sherborn looking for volunteers to assist on a short-term or long-term basis.

  • Boggestow Garden Club members share their love of gardening. (Contact club president Helen Cuddy at 508-653-2999 to become a member.)
  • The Peace Abbey supports peace and social justice, and also provides many resources for a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle.

Sail away. Get a beach sticker to Farm Pond beach at Town Hall or learn to sail at the Sherborn Yacht Club.
