Pet of the Week: Dundee

This week's pet of the week is a cat named Dundee.

Dundee is lucky enough to be the second most popular color choice for cats, with white being the most popular. It must be that orange is such a rare color for animals, except in tigers and smaller cats. We most like the description of him being a ginger cat our former British volunteer calls him along with him being "cheeky"when he flirts with her when she brings the treat box in at lunch. Dundee may have started life as a lost cat or a cat who was left behind as a young cat which may have explained why he arrived at the shelter a wee bit afraid of us and how he would watch how the other cats were treated by us. Now he is very comfortable with people who are comfortable with cats. He turns to jello when he is scratched behind the ears or when he is told how very handsome he is. We would love to pick him up and squeeze him like a teddy bear but he may not ever like that. Dundee would love to have a home with other cats but might also be happy to be your only indoor cat if you have time to adore him and a have a window with a view of the world.  To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out our Cat and Kitten Adoption Application or call the Shelter at 508.359.8989
