A Baccalaureate service is a religious and spiritual event that marks the close of the high school years and reflects the breadth of faith traditions represented in the community for the graduating class.

The ritual provides an occasion to honor and ask blessings for the graduates, and to give thanks for the gift they have been to family, friends and the community.
