Sherborn Business Association to Host Summer Brewfest

The event will feature beer from several local breweries and microbreweries and will also include German cuisine and live music.

The following was provided by the Sherborn Business Association.

An authentic brewfest featuring samples from many of the area’s leading microbreweries and well known larger boutique breweries will be sponsored by the Sherborn Business Association on Friday, June 1 at the Sherborn Inn, 33 N. Main St. in Sherborn.

The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Live music will be provided “Back Pages” a local instrumental group who have been performing for over 20 years.

In addition to many unique boutique beers, the Inn’s kitchen staff will provide German cuisine such as knockwurst, bratwurst, “pulled” sauerbraten sandwich, Bavarian chicken on a Kaiser roll, spaetzle, German potato salad and sauerkraut.

Tickets can be purchased from local merchants including Rose’s Automotive, the Sherborn Inn, Sherborn Wine & Spirits, Sherborn Market (Citgo) and Walgreens.

Tickets are $25 if purchased in advance or $30 if purchased at the event.

The Sherborn Business Association is a non–profit club of over 40 businesses in Sherborn.

President Ed Rose said, ”The brewfest is a good way for our organization to give back to the community. We are both creating a fun evening for adults and raising money for civic and educational needs in Sherborn. I hope this will become an annual event."
