Former Charles River Creative Arts Program Director Dies at 87

Priscilla Dewey Houghton, who served as the school's Creative Arts Program co-director, passed away on Friday, July 6 after a long battle with lung cancer.

A former co-director of the Charles River Creative Arts Program in Dover has died, according to a report on TheRepublic.com Thursday

Priscilla Dewey Houghton, who served as a co-director for the program at the for more than 20 years, died at the age of 87 at her Cohasset home after a longtime struggle with lung cancer, according to the report.

Although she was initially diagnosed with the disease in the 1980s, Houghton far outlived a prognosis of only a few months at the time, the article reports.
