With the summer months comes an increase in bicyclists sharing the road, and with that – accidents.

Some may even see cyclists as a menace to their roads – sometimes derogatorily referring to them as “lycra men” who swoop in as a pack, clog up the roadways, and don’t spend any money in town -- while others are unphased by them and/or see them as a boon to the local economy.
