Went to the market yesterday, in the city (you all know how much this urban creature stuck in the burbs loves a little city trip!).  

Boston has a fantastic outdoor market, the SoWa Market. (click the blue to go to the SoWa website).

It really is a great Sunday stroll, tons of great fresh food, baked goods, flowers, fruit, vegetables, jams, artisans, etc.

Lot's of fabulous creative people milling about and quite a few art galleries in the area stay open on Sunday's while the market runs. As long as it is sunny, it is a fabulous outing.

But yesterday was pouring rain. We attempted to get through it but my proenza's were getting wet, my children failed to see the charm of the situation, and soggy is just plain not fun.

Darting over puddles we quickly picked up our list of goodies, grabbed some fabulous food truck fair...

Stopped for an exceptional Halloween ring my daughter found and then drove home to the burbs.

Imagine our surprise when we turned off the highway and were greeted by a gorgeous sunny day!  Kooky New England weather!
