Auto Glass Etching Program In Dover Could Save You Money On Your Auto Insurance

You could save up to 15-percent on your comprehensive auto insurance through the Governor's Auto Theft Strike Force auto glass etching program.

Want to potentially save 15-percent on your car insurance without the help of a lizard?

The and the Governor's Auto Theft Strike Force will be teaming up on Saturday, Nov. 19, to sponsor an auto glass etching program.

The program helps to prevent auto theft by etching your vehicle's Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on all of the glass panels on the car, making it more easily identifiable.

The VIN etching is barely noticeable to passersby, but can act as a deterrent for auto thieves who know what to look for.

After the etching is complete you will receive a certificate for up to a 15-percent discount on your comprehensive auto insurance.

The program will take place at the Dover Police Department from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A fee of $10, cash only, will apply.
