Monday- April 16, 2012

Medical Emergency- 3:13 p.m.

Wakeland Road- Caller requests a medical evaluation after finding a tick in his arm. Patient taken to Needham Hospital.


Tuesday- April 17, 2012

Erratic Operation- 5:42 p.m.

Centre Street and Claybrook Road- Needham PD advised about a possible erratic operation of a light blue Ford sedan. Area checked, gone on arrival.


Wednesday- April 18, 2012

Tree Down- 12:43 a.m.

Dover Road- Report of a tree down partially blocking the road. Branch removed.

Mutual Aid, Fire- 1:02 p.m.

Morgan Farm Road- Westwood requested mutual aid for a brush fire. Fire extinguished.


Thursday- April 19, 2012

Fire, Brush- 6:21 p.m.

Dedham- Walk-in reported seeing smoke in the sky coming from the Powissett Street area. There was a large brush fire in the Westwood, Dedham area along the railroad tracks.

Suspicious Activity- 7:33 p.m.

Pine Street- Reported party came into the station to report that her home telephone has not been working properly for two weeks. She believes someone may have been tampering with her home phone line.


Friday- April 20, 2012

Suspicious Activity- 9:22 a.m.

Dedham Street- Resident stated that a baseball or some other object caused the glass on his back slider door to shatter. Officer checked the area and found no sign of foul play. Likely the result of a bird flying into the glass.

Wires Down- 3:28 p.m.

Meadowbrook Road- Caller reported that a landscaping truck ripped wires off of her house. Officer was able to secure the telephone wire.

Animal Complaint- 7:49 p.m.

Turtle Lane- Caller stated that she was confronted at Elm Bank about an issue with her dog. Information taken.


Saturday- April 21, 2012

Motor Vehicle Stop- 1:56 a.m.

Hartford Street and Saddle Ridge Road- Officer issued a municipal citation to an operator for possession of marijuana and issued a written warning for unlicensed operation on a junior operator's license. Verbal warning issued to the vehicle's owner for no inspection sticker.

Identity Theft- 10:03 a.m.

Bretton Road- Resident reported being a victim of identity theft. Information taken.


Sunday- April 22, 2012

Motor Vehicle Complaint- 2:47 p.m.

Centre Street- Criminal complaint application issued to an operator for operating after a suspended license.
