Monday- April 30, 2012

Fire, Other- 3:32 p.m.

Riverview Terrace- Reporting party stated she had smoke in her house along with a chemical smell. Fire Department determined it was blow back from a furnace.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 5:08 p.m.

Hartford Street- Motor vehicle stop, written warning issued for speeding.

Tuesday- May 1, 2012

Internet Related Incident- 9:59 a.m.

Raleigh Road- Reporting party brought in a copy of an email scam she received posing as an official FBI notice of investigation and monies the reporting party was to receive. Based in Nigeria.

Larceny Under $250- 11:06 p.m.

Strawberry Hill Street- Resident reported 6 reflective stakes missing from the front of his lawn within the last week. Stakes valued at $5 a piece.

 

Wednesday- May 2, 2012

Motor Vehicle Complaint- 8:30 p.m.

Springdale Avenue and Church Street- Bus driver reported that a silver SUV passed him near the intersection of Springdale Avenue and Church Street. An officer left a message for the vehicle owner to call the station. The operator came into the station and stated that the stop sign and lights were not out or flashing and that the bus was turning right as he continued on straight. Verbal warning issued.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 9:46 a.m.

Farm Street- Criminal application was issued for revoked/unregistered/uninsured. Vehicle towed.

 

Thursday- May 3, 2012

Motor Vehicle Crash- 4:38 p.m.

Dedham Street and Chestnut Street- Westwood PD reported a medical emergency from a motor vehicle crash. Vehicle located in Dover. Vehicle was involved in a two car crash. One transported to Beth Israel Hospital. Verbal warning issued to one operator for following too closely. One vehicle towed.

Motor Vehicle Crash, Leave Scene Prop Damage- 4:39 p.m.

Hartford Street-Caller stated that she was involved in a motor vehicle crash and the other vehicle fled the scene towards Medfield. Medfield PD notified. Medfield PD reported that the suspect was then involved in a motor vehicle crash in their town. Operator in custody. Criminal application issued for negligent operation of a motor vehicle so as to endanger and leaving the scene of a property damage.

 

Friday- May 4, 2012

Suspicious Activity- 5:02 p.m.

Dedham Street- Caller reported seeing a male party wearing a red shirt come out of the woods onto property. Officers checked area and subject was gone on arrival.

Suspicious Activity- 7:32 p.m.

Church Street- Caller stated that she found a male party entering the gate to her backyard who told her that he wanted to see the landscaping. Officer spoke to and advised the individual. No further action taken.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 8:37 p.m.

Motor vehicle stop. Citation issued for speeding.

 

Saturday- May 5, 2012

Motor Vehicle Stop- 12:09 a.m.

Farm Street and Bridge Street- Verbal warning for speeding. Criminal application citation issued for operating after a suspended license.

 

Sunday- May 6, 2012

Suspicious Activity- 7:40 p.m.

Centre Street- Caller reported a male driving a golf cart up and down the street with two other parties in the cart. Caller reported that the party seemed intoxicated and had a golf club in his hand. Officers checked the area and spoke with the operator of the golf cart and reported that the operator was not intoxicated. The operator was advised of the complaint and all is in order.
