Monday- Dec. 19, 2011

Erratic Operation- 7:08 p.m.

Main Street- Reporting party reported that a vehicle was operating erratically. She said the vehicle passed her over the yellow lines and then was breaking and would not allow her to pass by, stopping in the road. Both operators were spoken to by police.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 10:05 p.m.

Springdale Avenue and Farm Street- A citation was issued for speeding.

Tuesday- Dec. 20, 2011

Fire, Other- 8:09 a.m.

Rolling Lane- AAA called to request that a vehicle be checked prior to removal. The vehicle may have been leaking gas. Vehicle checked ok.

Suspicious Activity- 6:46 p.m.

Yorkshire Road- Reporting party heard three loud bangs and wasn't sure if they were gunshots or metal being banged. Area checked. Nothing found.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 7:27 p.m.

Farm Street- Criminal application citation issued to an operator for operating after a license suspension.

 

Wednesday- Dec. 21, 2011

Mutual Aid- 1:40 a.m.

Farm Road, Sherborn- Motor Vehicle Crash in Sherborn. The operator of the vehicle fled from the scene. Dover officer helped look for the operator in the area of Farm Road in Sherborn.

Larceny Over $250- 9:40 a.m.

Pleasant Street- A party reported that several UPS packages have been taken from her property. The incident will be investigated.

 

Thursday- Dec. 22, 2011

Larceny Under $250- 2:48 p.m.

Meadowbrook Road- Party reported that a 20 foot ladder was taken from his yard within the past week. Information taken.

 

Friday- Dec. 23, 2011 

Complaint- 3:03 p.m.

Normandie Road and Picardy Lane- Caller requested that a youth be spoken to about driving a go-kart on a public way.

Complaint- 3:05 p.m.

Walpole Street, Dover Post Officer- Caller requested a formal complaint be documented regarding the demonstrators at the post office. She stated that the demonstrators yelled at her in her vehicle stating "stop WWIII, aren't you disappointed in Obama."

Operating Under the Influence, Arrest(s) Made- 6:06 p.m.

Pleasant Street and Annie King Lane- Operator arrested for alleged OUI drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, defective headlight and no seatbelt. Three passengers received civil citations for not wearing their seatbelt.

 

Saturday- Dec. 24, 2011 

Motor Vehicle Stop- 12:26 a.m.

Walpole Street- Verbal warning issued for speeding.

 

Sunday- Dec. 25, 2011

Found/Recovered Property- 11:28 p.m.

Walpole Street- Walk-in dropped off a wallet. Owner contacted.

 

Monday- Dec. 26, 2011

Building Check- 1:06 a.m.

Springdale Avenue- Town agencies, schools, parking areas and fields all check ok.
