Monday- Feb. 20, 2012

Harassing Phone Calls- 4:39 p.m.

Claybrook Road- Reporting party stated that she received a phone call from a security/alarm company and she feels that it is a scam. Police advised her to contact them if anyone unknown to her shows up at her residence.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 10:50 p.m.

Centre Street- Four citations issued for seat belt violations.

Tuesday- Feb. 21, 2012

Animal Complaint- 9:32 a.m.

Centre Street, Most Precious Blood Church- A caller stated that he hit a hawk with his vehicle and that the animal was injured in the roadway. An officer checked the roadway, animal was gone on arrival.

Hazardous Condition- 2:49 p.m.

Springdale Avenue, Dover Town House- Walk-in reported that slate had fallen on the walkway from the roof. Officer checked the condition and notified building maintenance.

 

Wednesday- Feb. 22, 2012

Disturbance- 11:08 a.m.

Springdale Avenue- Calling party reported that there was an unwanted person in her house. Officers investigated.

Identity Theft- 11:39 a.m.

Walpole Street- Identity fraud. The information was passed on to the detective unit.

Larceny Under $250- 3:44 p.m.

Springdale Avenue, Dover Market- Dover Market believes they received a counterfeit $100 at lunch time. U.S. Secret Service notified and will pass information onto the proper agents.

Identity Theft- 4:31 p.m.

Walpole Street- A resident reported that her social security number was stolen.

 

Thursday- Feb. 23, 2012

Motor Vehicle Complaint- 9:39 a.m.

Hartford Street- Caller reported a vehicle driving erratically, crossing over the yellow line heading toward Route 109 in Medfield. Medfield PD notified.

Larceny Under $250- 12:04 p.m.

Springdale Avenue, Dover Market- Caller reported a party who used a counterfeit $100 bill. The party had just placed a phone order and was heading to the store. Caller stated that the person was described as a white male with curly brown hair, approx. 5-11 in height, wearing a green and brown sweater with khaki pants. Officer reported that the party would be interviewed at the station.

 

Friday- Feb. 24, 2012

Assist Other Agencies- 12:19 p.m.

Centre Street- Officer Hagan spoke to local church officials in regards to fraud issues.

Suspicious Activity- 10:40 p.m.

Farm Street, Dover-Sherborn Middle School- Suspicious motor vehicle. Vehicle towed by Needham Towing. Involved party Section 12, transported to MetroWest hospital, Natick.

 

Saturday- Feb. 25, 2012

Fire, Other- 12:26 p.m.

Farm Street, D-S Regional Schools Admin Building- Report of a fire from a transformer blown fuse. NSTAR notified.

 

Sunday- Feb. 26, 2012

Fire, Other- 8:48 a.m.

Greystone Road- Resident reported that the power surged and now several appliances were emitting smoke. The reporting party also stated that he had no power at the time. NSTAR and Dover FD notified.

B & E, Unknown Time- 2:08 p.m.

Dedham Street- Resident called and reported that his house was broken into between Feb. 24 and Feb. 26. Detective responded, report to be filed.

 

Monday- Feb. 27, 2012

Traffic Enforcement- 12:54 a.m.

Hartford Street- No violation observed.
