Monday- Feb. 6, 2012

Littering/Illegal Dumping- 8:41 a.m.

Bridge Street- Officer reported a small water heater that had been at the Bridge Street landing.

Tuesday- Feb. 7, 2012

Deer Hit or Killed- 8:32 a.m.

Powissett Street- Operator reported that he struck a deer. Area check, unable to locate the deer.

Hazardous Condition- 9:33 a.m.

Whiting Road and Springdale Avenue- A cyclist reported seeing razor blades in the roadway. An officer reported that there was one razor in the roadway and removed it.

 

Wednesday- Feb. 8, 2012

Erratic Operation- 1:35 p.m.

Centre Street and Dedham Street- Reporting party stated that there was an erratic operator on Centre Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 11:38 p.m.

Farm Street- Verbal warning was issued to an operator for speeding.

 

Thursday- Feb. 9, 2012

Notification- 4:21 a.m.

High Street, Westwood- Westwood PD advised of the use of police K-9 teams to track a juvenile male subject on Route 109 in the area of their headquarters. Requested that Dover PD to be on the look out for the involved party should he make it past their search grid. Party located at South Station and placed in custody.

Suspicious Activity- 8:24 p.m.

Stonegate Lane- A resident reported that she could see people with flash lights behind her house. She could also see a red light as well. Officers, along with a Westwood officer checked the area and were unable to locate anyone.

 

Friday- Feb. 10, 2012

Motor Vehicle Stop- 8:46 a.m.

Walpole Street- Citation issued for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.

Suspicious Activity- 9:33 p.m.

Stonegate Lane- Reporting party stated that there were flashing lights coming from their backyard. Officers were unable to locate.

 

Saturday- Feb. 11, 2012

Bicycle Complaint- 1:37 p.m.

Cross Street and Willow Street- An officer spoke with a bicyclist who was traveling in the wrong lane and almost caused and accident.

Warrant Service, Arrest Made- 4:39 p.m.

Tubwreck Drive- Attempt to serve a warrant. One person was placed in custody for the default warrant.

 

Sunday- Feb. 12, 2012

Harassing Phone Calls- 12:20 a.m.

Saddle Ridge Road- A caller reported that she has received several prank calls within the hour.

Harassing Phone Calls- 12:15 p.m.

Knollwood Drive- Caller reported harassing phone calls. The caller claimed to be from the "Massachusetts Internal Police" and advised that there was an emergency. The resident hung up and spoke with family members to ensure that there was no emergency.

 

Monday- Feb. 13, 2012

Building Check- 12:35 a.m.

Springdale Avenue- East side schools, buses and town agencies appear ok.
