Dover Police and Fire Log: Fire Put Out Together
The following information was provided by the Dover Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, October 12
No Papers in Hand (2:30 a.m.) - An officer made a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Centre St. and Knollwood Dr. A citation was issued for not having an inspection sticker and for not having the registration in possession.
Fire (7:29 p.m.) - A Pleasant St. resident calls to report a fire has escaped his fireplace and the home is on fire. Police officers and fire personnel responded and were able to knock the fire down quickly. Pleasant St. was closed temporarily. The Fire Department ventilated the home.
