Motor Vehicle Stop- 9:02 p.m.

Centre Street and Hunt Drive- Citation issued for speeding.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 10:34 p.m.

Pine Street- Written warning issued for speeding.

Tuesday- Jan. 3, 2011

Civil Matter- 1:32 p.m.

Meeting House Hill Road- Daughter of a resident reported that someone had entered her home and move things around.

Unwanted Person- 10:16 p.m.

Meeting House Hill Road- Reporting party stated that a male party was sitting in a car in front of a house on Meeting House Hill Road. Officers spoke with a male party and moved him along.

Wednesday- Jan. 4, 2011

Carbon Monoxide Alarm- 12:16 a.m.

Abbott Road- A resident called regardinga carbon monoxide alarm sounding in her home. Fire dispatched.

Thursday- Jan. 5, 2011

Motor Vehicle Stop- 5:25 p.m.

Centre Street- Criminal application citation issued for a person operating an uninsured, unregistered motor vehicle and for operating after revocation of registration. Officer gave the operator a courtesy transport to the police department to make travel arrangements.

Motor Vehicle Stop, Arrest Made- 9:45 p.m.

Centre Street- One party under arrest for operating under the influence and  operating a vehicle after license suspension. Male juvenile transported to residence.

Friday- Jan. 6, 2011

Bicycle Complaint- 3:25 p.m.

Haven Street and Church Street- Reporting party called and complained that three bicyclists were riding abreast on Haven Street toward Church Street blocking the roadway. When the reporting party passed the bicyclists they followed the driver home where they told the reporting party that bicycles have as much right to the travel lane as a car. The reporting party did not like the cyclists' aggressive behavior.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 8:09 p.m.

Junction Street- Citation issued to an operator for a Junior Operator's License restriction and four citations were issued to passengers for seatbelt violations.

Saturday- Jan. 7, 2011

Suspicious Activity- 2:46 p.m.

Tisdale Drive- Caller reported that mail had been removed from her mailbox, opened and thrown into the woods on her street. Information taken.

Sunday- Jan. 8, 2011 

Suspicious Activity- 7:49 a.m.

Haven Street- Walk-in reported a man going through a mailbox who quickly walked away down the road and not into a driveway when a car approached. Officer was unable to locate the individual. The mailbox at the location has a pamphlet dispenser and that is possibly what the individual was looking at.

Trespass- 11:27 a.m.

Centre Street- Caller reported that an unknown party was on the rear of his property cutting wood. Officers spoke with both parties and resolved the dispute.

Monday- Jan. 9, 2011

Motor Vehicle Complaint- 7:40 a.m.

Centre Street- Party called to report vehicles travelling at excessive speeds by the Most Precious Blood Church.
