Monday- Jan. 23, 2012

Suspicious Activity- 9:43 a.m.

Donnelly Drive- Resident stated that a individual knocked on her door yesterday around 3:00 p.m. stating that someone had pledged a donation for the Fraternal Order of Police. The resident stated that she wasn't sure if it was legit and that no one had pledged money. Information taken.

Suspicious Activity- 2:25 p.m.

Farm Street- Caretaker stated that there were vehicle tire tracks all along the property and on the lawn. No damage to the property. Extra patrols requested.

Motor Vehicle Crash- 2:28 p.m.

Farm Street and Glen Street- Motor vehicle crash involving a school bus and a car. Officer assessed the scene and determined that there were no injuries and that the crash was minor. Written warning issued to the operator of the sedan for failure to yield at an intersection.

Operating Under the Influence, Arrest Made- 9:15 p.m.

County Street- Caller reported hearing two parties in a verbal altercation in the street in front of a house. Officers on scene reported an altercation stemming from a hit and run crash on Hartford Street in Walpole Street in Dover. Arrest citation issued for alleged leaving the scene of a personal injury crash and OUI liquor.

 

Tuesday- Jan. 23, 2012

Fire- 4:39 p.m.

Dedham Street- A caller stated that she saw 4 to 5 teenagers in the woods with a camp fire off the main trail. An officer located the fire and extinguished the fire. Nobody was in the area.

Erratic Operation- 9:01 p.m.

Farm Street- Caller reported that they were behind a vehicle that was swerving and fluctuating speed. Officer spoke to the operator who checked ok.

 

Wendesday- Jan. 24, 2012

Motor Vehicle Complaint- 8:03 a.m.

Donnelly Drive- A resident stated that around 7:30 a.m. students drive at high rates of speed in the Donnelly Estate area.

 

Thursday- Jan. 25, 2012

Suspicious Activity- 6:29 p.m.

Centre Street- Caller reported he was checking the church and heard a loud bang. He is requesting that an officer walk through with him. Building checked. All appeared ok.

 

Friday- Jan. 26, 2012

Motor Vehicle Crash, Leaving the Scene of Property Damage- 2:42 a.m.

Springdale Avenue- Officer located damage to a guardrail and utility pole. Vehicle debris at the scene included the remains of a side view mirror, wiring hardware from a vehicle light and silver exterior vehicle paneling. Unable to locate.

Suspicious Activity- 7:27 p.m.

Wilsondale Street- Reporting party reported that a Jeep with a few occupants was near the power lines on Wilsondale Street. Party checked ok and was just sitting in the vehicle, verbal warning issued for not having their license in possesion, advised to move along.

 

Saturday- Jan. 27, 2012

Erratic Operation- 12:21 p.m.

Walpole Street- Report of car almost hit oncoming cars head on severa times. Officers were unable to locate.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 4:14 p.m.

Farm Street- Motor vehicle stop. Verbal warning issued for inspection sticker.

 

Sunday- Jan. 28, 2012

Littering/Illegal Dumping- 4:34 p.m.

Claybrook Road and Trout Brook Road- Caller reported that she collected several pieces of litter along Claybrook Road, which she believes identifies who discarded it.

Erratic Operation- 6:31 p.m.

Centre Street and Cross Street- Caller reported he was behind a vehicle inbound on Centre Street from Medfield who was fluctuating speeds between 15 and 25 m.p.h. in a 40 m.p.h. zone. Officer spoke with the operator who checked ok.

 

Monday- Jan. 29, 2012

Animal Complaint- 6:54 p.m.

Farm Street and Donnelly Drive- Hunt club reported that there were dogs loose on Farm Street.
