Monday- Jan. 30, 2012

Motor Vehicle Stop- 4:57 p.m.

Pleasant Street- Written warning issued for speeding.

Tuesday- Jan. 31, 2012

Fire, Other- 1:52 a.m.

Greystone Road- Caller stated that a power line came down from his house approximately 30 minutes prior and he smelled an electrical burning odor.

Road Rage- 3:14 p.m.

Centre Street- A caller stated that she was fearful of her safety from a vehicle that was tailgating her and the operator was yelling at her. Caller said that the vehicle passed her on the right and yelled at her to hang up the phone. Officer located the vehicle and spoke to the operator. Citation issued for passing a vehicle on the right.

Suspicious Activity- 4:46 p.m.

Cullen Road- A resident complained about a group soliciting funds claiming to be in the name of the Dover Fire Department. Information taken.

 

Wednesday- Feb. 1, 2012

Missing Person- 2:23 p.m.

Brookfield Road- A resident stated that she could not locate her 9-year-old daughter. An officer was sent to the house. The school was contacted to obtain the child's friend information and located the child at a friend's house. The child was returned to her parent.

Animal Complaint- 6:01 p.m.

Pine Street, Fire Tower- Reporting party stated that while he was walking his dogs a Great Dane picked up one of his small dogs in its mouth but didn't injure the dog. The reporting party stated that this was the second time this same animal had been aggressive towards his dogs and the Great Dane was not leashed either time. Information taken.

 

Thursday- Feb. 2, 2012

Motor Vehicle Stop- 2:07 p.m.

Bridge Street- Criminal application citation issued to an operator for operating a vehicle after revocation of license. Vehicle towed. Officer gave courtesy transport to Natick.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 4:00 p.m.

Hartford Street- Written warning issued for speeding.

 

Friday- Feb. 3, 2012

General Info- 2:54 p.m.

Walpole Street, Dover Police Department- Las Vegas Metro Police called to report that they have a subject in custody for an outstanding warrant. Warrant was faxed to LV Metro PD.

Fire, Other- 6:10 p.m.

Farm Street- A caller stated that there was an odor of gas in the house. Parties were advised to exit the residence and wait for the Fire Department's response.

 

Saturday- Feb. 4, 2012

Vandalism- 9:52 p.m.

Farm Street- Caller reported that his house was hit with eggs. This is the second time this has happened recently.

General Services- 7:30 p.m.

Pine Street- Calling party reported that a second floor pipe has burst and was leaking water into the kitchen. Dover Fire Department was able to turn off the water and check the electrical system.

 

Sunday- Feb. 5, 2012

Trespass- 2:38 p.m.

Powissett Street- Caller reported that a vehicle drove across his lawn. The reporting party stated that no damage was done. Advised to post trespassing signs.

 

Monday- Feb. 6, 2012

Motor Vehicle Stop- 1:40 a.m.

Chestnut Street- Check ok.
