Monday- March 26, 2012

Fire, Brush- 3:25 p.m.

Miller Hill Road- Resident called to report a brush fire in her yard. The fire possible started with a cigarette thrown out of a car window. Fire extinguished.

Motor Vehicle Crash, Property Damage- 4:35 p.m.

County Street- A single car motor vehicle accident took down two mailboxes on County Street, damaging the car and smashing the windshield. A written warning was issued to the operator for impeded operation.

Tuesday- March 27, 2012

Fire, Structure- 11:07 a.m.

Walpole Street- Report of a working structure fire on Walpole Street with the first and second floors fully engulfed. Westwood, Medfield and Walpole Fire were requested to the scene. Both residents of the house were located and safe.

Suspicious Activity- 11:11 p.m.

County Street- A caller reported that a male knocked on his door looking for fuel for his vehicle. The individual said that his vehicle was at the gas station on County Street. Officers spoke to the individual and assisted him and sent him on his way.

 

Wednesday- March 28, 2012

Drug Law Violation- 11:00 a.m.

Juniper Lane- Citation issued for a drug law violation.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 8:35 p.m.

Strawberry Hill Street- Citation issued for inspection sticker, defective equipment, and a verbal warning issued for 94c violation to both passengers and the operator.

 

Thursday- March 29, 2012

Larceny Over $250- 1:30 p.m.

County Street- A Metro PCS employee reported a stolen copper grounding bar worth $750. A detective went up to the site and identified two other victim companies.

Suspicious Activity- 4:52 p.m.

Cullen Road and Claybrook Road- Detective reported a suspicious motor vehicle with a loud exhaust pulling into driveways in the area. Area checked, vehicle was gone on arrival.

 

Friday- March 30, 2012

Lost/Missing Property- 9:54 a.m.

Dedham Street- Reporting property dropped off a found iPod nano located in the Noanet Woodlands o.n the red trail. Apple security contacted and a request to locate the owner was placed.

Suspicious Activity- 4:19 p.m.

Claybrook Road- Reporting party stated that a white male asked her children if he could play basketball with them, he was a stranger and the mom brought the kids in and then the man came back and rang the doorbell. Officer spoke with the involved party and noted that he was intoxicated.

 

Saturday- March 31, 2012

Suspicious Activity- 12:30 a.m.

Old Colony Drive- Caller reported that he returned home to find his garage door open, he then went back and found the door closed. Officers checked and everything appeared in order, homeowner satisfied.

Lockout/ Lock-in- 7:52 a.m.

Springdale Avenue- Walk-in reported that he locked himself out of his vehicle at the Dover Market with his two dogs inside of the vehicle. Officers assisted.

 

Sunday- April 1, 2012

Animal Complaint- 11:41 a.m.

Main Street- Resident reported a sick raccoon on her front yard. Animal put down and removed.

 

Monday- April 2, 2012

Alarm, Burglar- 2:33 a.m.

Southfield Drive- Master bedroom motion activation. Officers checked the residence and all appeared secure.
