Monday- March 5, 2012

Motor Vehicle Complaint- 2:56 p.m.

Ruel Drive- Numerous calls received regarding a vehicle "burning rubber" in the Craw Drive, Ruel Drive and Oak Circle area. No vehicle description obtained. Damaged reported a lawn in the area of the high tension wires. Information taken.

Motor Vehicle Theft- 3:04 p.m.

Meeting House Hill Road- A legal guardian for a resident reported that a motor vehicle was stolen and filed a stolen motor vehicle report. Certified mail, email and cell phone voice mail were sent providing a deadline of March 5 at 12:00 p.m. No response provided and the vehicle was not returned. Vehicle submitted as stolen.

Tuesday- March 6, 2012

Motor Vehicle Crash- 1:00 p.m.

Springdale Avenue- Sherborn detail officer reported a minor motor vehicle crash. Officer assisted with paper exchange.

Erratic Operation- 9:19 p.m.

Ruel Drive- Reporting party reported a vehicle driving erratically in front of her house. Officer reported that the vehicle was gone on arrival but there were tire marks at Ruel and Oak.

 

Wednesday- March 7, 2012

Suspicious Activity- 2:23 p.m.

Wilsondale Street- Officer encountered a party by the Westwood line. Party had an active warrant, Westwood PD notified. Westwood PD took custody of the party.

 

Thursday- March 8, 2012

Littering/Illegal Dumping- 6:12 p.m.

Dedham Street- Reporting party called to report a white plastic bag in the middle of the roadway. Officer removed the bag which was filled with empty beer cans.

 

Friday- March 9, 2012

Littering/Illegal Dumping- 1:18 a.m.

Miller Hill Road- 6 full beer bottles were found littering the roadway. They were returned to the station and destroyed.

Found/Recovered Property- 10:42 a.m.

Sterling Drive- Caller reported that she observed a firearm on the ground in her backyard. The caller was advised to leave the item where it was. Officers responded and reported that the item retrieved was a toy/replica.

 

Saturday- March 10, 2012

General Services- 2:47 p.m.

Crest Drive- A resident reported paying for services and is now unable to contact the worker. Officer spoke to the resident, report to be filed.

 

Sunday- March 11, 2012

Motor Vehicle Crash- 2:00 p.m.

Bridge Street- Written warning issued for speeding.

Assist Citizen- 3:07 p.m.

Colonial Road- Resident reported finding a dead raccoon this morning on her deck, resident said they would resolve the issue.

 

Monday- March 12, 2012

Disabled Motor Vehicle- 6:23 a.m.

Walpole Street- A motorist called because their vehicle had died in the middle of the street. Vehicle was pushed off of Walpole Street onto Colonial Road. AAA called.
