Monday- May 28, 2012

Erratic Operation- 4:27 p.m.

Dedham Street- Reporting party reported that a car with four teenage occupants swerved at him as he ran up Chestnut Street. Car matched a description of a vehicle involved in similar incidents in Westwood and Norwood several minutes earlier. Officers found the car and spoke to and advised all occupants.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 8:15 p.m.

Dover Road and Main Street- Motor vehicle stop -  citation issued for no license in possession and inspection sticker (forged). Operator given a verbal on the criminal charge.

Tuesday- May 29, 2012

Motor Vehicle Crash- 9:27 a.m.

Cross Street- School personnel called in a minor motor vehicle accident in the school parking lot. Crash occurred between two unoccupied vehicles. Citation issued to vehicle 1 for failure to properly set vehicle brake while unattended.

Animal Complaint- 10:10 p.m.

Glen Street-Reporting party stated that she had a bat flying around a bedroom. Sergeant spoke to the reporting party and assisted with the situation. Problem rectified by homeowner.

 

Wednesday- May 30, 2012

Larceny Under $250- 5:16 p.m.

Buttercup Lane- Reporting party had phone service wires cut Monday night or Tuesday morning. 4 feet of wires cut. Information taken and resident was advised that police would conduct extra checks in the area.

 

Thursday- May 31, 2012

Deer Hit or Killed- 5:59 a.m.

Centre Street- Reporting party stated that there was a deceased deer in front of his house. Officer checked the area. Deer was directly in front of the driveway. Deer would be picked up within an hour.

 

Friday- June 1, 2012

Harassing Phone Calls- 6:57 a.m.

Knollwood Drive- Caller stated that she received a suspicious phone call Thursday. The caller started telling her that there have been a lot of house breaks in her neighborhood. She immediately disconnected the call. Information taken.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 5:12 p.m.

County Street- Verbal warning issued for unregistered vehicle to the owner, citation issued to the operator for no seat belt and and passengers in the vehicle.

 

Saturday- June 2, 2012

Liquor Law Violation- 12:16 a.m.

County Street and Walpole Street- Motor vehicle stop, officer issued a criminal application citation to an operator for defective equipment and minor transporting alcohol. Criminal application citations issued to six passengers for minor possessing alcohol. Five of them also cited for failure to wear a seat belt.

Identity Theft- 1:20 p.m.

Village Hill Road- Report of identity theft. Investigated.

 

Sunday- June 3, 2012

Vandalism- 1:09 p.m.

Hartford Street- Reporting party stated that her mailbox was vandalized. Information taken.

Parked Motor Vehicle- 9:42 p.m.

Mill Street- Officer checked on unoccupied motor vehicle on the road. Municipal citation issued for possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
