Monday- Oct. 17, 2011

Soliciting- 2:52 p.m.

Walpole Street- Resident reported a female party who approached her and her son as they pulled into their driveway to dispense anti-war material. Resident was informed that no solicitation by-law exists and that to keep a similar situation from happening she could post her property with no solicitation signs.

Motor Vehicle Complaint- 4:03 p.m.

Walpole Street and Powissett Street- Off duty officer reported a motorcycle travelling at a high rate of speed. A second caller complained of the same motorcycle. Officers checked the area with no results.

Found/Recovered Property- 5:58 p.m.

Centre Street- Walk-in dropped off a Visa credit card that she found on the side of the road. A message was left for the owner and the owner retrieved their property.

 

Wednesday- Oct. 19, 2011

General Services- 2:25 p.m.

Pinewood Road- Officer conducting a search of a house for property. State Police K9 unit on scene. Unable to locate item.

Motor Vehicle Parking Violation- 6:48 p.m.

Centre Street- Parking ticket issued for parking facing the wrong direction.

 

Thursday- Oct. 20, 2011

Motor Vehicle Complaint, Arrest(s) Made- 7:31 a.m.

Junction St., Dover-Sherborn High School- Caller stated that there was a motor vehicle stuck in the soccer field behind the school. Medfield PD contacted and Medfield Hospital Security spoken to. Officer transporting one in custody for alleged trespassing, wanton destruction and illegal possession of a prescription drug. GBC Teletype sent out regarding copper wire.

Animal Complaint- 6:43 p.m.

Main Street and Haven Street- Reporting party reported a dead animal in the road. Several calls came in for a dead coyote in the road. Officer checked the area. Animal gone on arrival. Blood and fur found in the area.

 

Friday- Oct. 21, 2011

General Services- 8:41 a.m.

Claybrook Road- Officer spoke with resident regarding copper wiring on property and recent thefts.

Identity Theft- 4:13 p.m.

Walpole Street- Reporting party is a victim of stolen forged checks.

Vandalism- 9:14 p.m.

Junction Street, D-S High School- Reporting party's car was keyed at the D-S High School football game.

 

Saturday- Oct. 22, 2011

Medical Emergency- 1:28 p.m.

Church Street- Male in station reporting his mother fell off of a ladder and is unconscious. Medflight requested to respond. Party airlifted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

 

Sunday- Oct. 23, 2011

Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle- 8:32 a.m.

Donnelly Drive- Calling party reported that some time last night her vehicle was broken into. Officers responded and investigated.

General Information- 2:07 p.m.

Walpole Street- U.S. Census Bureau employee was in the area of Ledgewood Road.

 

Monday- Oct. 24, 2011

Motor Vehicle Stop, Arrest(s) Made- 9:01 a.m.

County Street- Warrant arrest of a white male. Verbal warning issued to operator for no inspection sticker. Citation issued to the operator for a seatbelt violation. Citation issued to passenger for seatbelt violation. Passenger arrested for outstanding warrant.
