Monday- Oct. 3, 2011

Motor Vehicle Stop- 4:36 p.m.

Partridge Hill Road- Verbal warning issued for no inspection sticker.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 7:12 p.m.

Dedham Street and Strawberry Hill Street- Verbal warning issued for no brake lights. Owner instructed to use hazards on the way home and get them repaired.

Tuesday- Oct. 4, 2011

Disabled Motor Vehicle- 8:36 p.m.

Haven Street- Officer assisted a disabled motor vehicle. 2 gallons of gas from town yard issued to get motorist on his way.

 

Wednesday- Oct. 5, 2011

Parked Motor Vehicle- 11:01 a.m.

Springdale Avenue- Parking ticket issued for parking in the wrong direction.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 10:50 p.m.

Springdale Avenue and Farm Street- Verbal warning issued for stop sign violation.

 

Thursday- Oct. 6, 2011

Erratic Operation- 8:03 p.m.

Centre Street and Claybrook Road- Needham PD reported that they have a caller on the line reporting an erratic operator headed towards Dover. Officer checked to the Needham line and the vehicle was no longer in the area. Vehicle located by Medfield PD.

Mutual Aid- 8:52 p.m.

Hickory Drive, Medfield- Medfield PD requested mutual aid for a caller stating someone banging on his door. Stated he did not check to see who was there. Officer reported that a neighbor's kids were "ghosting" by leaving candy at the door step and knocking on the door.

 

Friday- Oct. 7, 2011 

Motor Vehicle Crash- 7:37 a.m.

Pleasant Street- Resident called in a vehicle that was off of the roadway. 2 car crash. One male operator was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Verizon and NSTAR needed for pole replacement.

Assist Citizen- 3:14 p.m.

Cranberry Lane- Some placed a newspaper mailbox in the middle of her yard and can't get it out of the ground. Officer removed mailbox and returned with it to the station.

 

Saturday- Oct. 8, 2011

Lost/Missing Property- 3:22 p.m.

Glen Street- Caller reported that she lost a diamond tennis bracelet while attending a wedding on Aug. 27.

Suspicious Activity- 6:30 p.m.

Riga Road- Calling party reported that three youths were ringing doorbells and running away. Officers spoke with the youths and advised them to find something more constructive to do.

 

Sunday- Oct. 9, 2011

Motor Vehicle Crash- 9:13 p.m.

County Street- Two car crash. Ashland K9 on scene, operator fled into the woods. Walpole medics transported one to a Boston hospital. Officers were unable to locate person who fled.

 

Monday- Oct. 10, 2011

Continuing Investigation- 6:40 a.m.

County Street and Crest Drive- Officer out on a follow up.
