 Monday – June 20, 2011

Continuing Investigation  1:38 a.m.

Draper Road - Officers conducting an investigation of a previous noise complaint call.

Hazardous Condition 2:44 p.m.

Centre St. and Knollwood Dr. - Multiple callers reported a hay truck lost approximately 15 bales of in the road. The highway department responded and removed the hay from the road.

Animal Complaint 2:59 p.m.

Caller reports large snake in bulkhead stairs. Animal control officer was notified.

Soliciting 6:16 p.m.

Village Hill Rd. – A caller stated that a solicitor came to his door and was rude.  When he refused to buy anything from her she swore and gave him the finger. Caller described her as a black female in her 20’s wearing a pink shirt and white shorts.  The solicitor’s supervisor was contacted and stated he would reach the solicitor by phone.  Sgt. Mick found the girl in question and spoke with her.

Tuesday – June 21, 2011

Vandalism – 3:53 p.m.

Pine St. - Caller stated her mailbox was vandalized. It was broken off the granite post sometime during the night.  Officer checked the area. The only other damage was also found on Pine St. It was unknown if that was recent.

Suspicious Activity – 5:11 p.m.

Centre St. - Solicitor refused to leave the property when asked to by the homeowner. After six times, the solicitor finally left.

Wednesday – June 22, 2011

Suspicious Activity – 9:05 p.m.

Caller reported a man hitchhiking on Hunt Dr.  Police officer responded and brought the hitchhiker to the police station to arrange for a ride.

Thursday – June 23, 2011

Animal lost/ missing – 6:38 p.m.

Meeting House Hill Rd – Caller reports that a stray cat has been coming around her house for the last several days. The cat appears lost and weak. The cat is gray with yellow eyes and long hair. Officer checked log and no cats are reported missing. Animal control was notified.

Suspicious Activity – 10:24 p.m.

Hilltop Rd – Caller reports she saw an unusual light in the woods behind her house in the middle of the night last night. Caller was advised to call the police the next time she sees anything unusual. Officers checked the area.

Friday – June 24, 2011

Motor Vehicle Stop – 10:30 p.m.

Walpole St. – A verbal warning was giving for operating equipment.  Operator had a juvenile operator’s license with a passenger in the car. Parent was contacted and will pick up the passenger.  A citation was issued to the operator for Juvenile Operator’s passenger restriction.


Saturday – June 25, 2011

Missing person – 2:28 p.m.

Police were checking  for a missing 72 year-old male from the Medfield area. He was possibly in the woods and along the Charles River.

Animal Lost/ Missing - 3:46 p.m.

Caller states she found a pet parakeet in her yard. The animal control officer was notified and the caller stated she will hold onto the bird and put up flyers.

Erratic operation – 11:39 p.m.

Medfield police department reported a erratic operator on Rte 109 towards Dover. The vehicle described as a black Chevy pick-up. The Westwood police were also notified.

Disabled Motor Vehicle – 11:49 p.m.

Reporting party reported a vehicle out of gas. It was reported that it was a small silver sedan with its hazard lights on. Dover police waited until two units from the Medfield police arrived. The Medfield police conducted a field sobriety test on the operator.

Sunday - June 26, 2011

Alarm, Burglar – 10:37 p.m.

Sonitrol reports a glass break alarm. Natick officers responded. Sgt. Mick and Natick officers search the property. All appeared OK at the time.
