Crash Led to 67-Year-Old Driver Being Arrested

The Dover Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

5 p.m.: An officer checked on a parked motor vehicle and issued a criminal summons to a driver for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.  

5:07 p.m.: A caller reported a one-car crash in front of her house. Officers, ambulances and firefighters responded and performed roadside rescue. Ambulances transported the driver to Beth Israel Needham.

Officers arrested Stephen Marini, 67, from 19 Valley Rd in Dover and charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle as to endanger. 

11:35 p.m.: A security company called police reporting a carbon monoxide alarm being tripped in a boiler room on Glen Street. Fire crews checked the building and determined the detector was faulty.
