Dover Police Log: Branch Burning on Wire, Suspicious Vehicle

Thursday, Dec. 27

4:14 a.m.: A caller reported a wire was down on Wildwood Road blocking the roadway. An officer observed a cluster of trees that fell and are leaning on the wires. NStar arrived on scene and addressed the issue. 

3:41 p.m.: A Centre Street resident called police concerned about a car that was parked outside the caller's home. Officers told the caller the vehicle ran out of gas and is waiting for AAA to arrive. 

4:41 p.m.: A Miller Hill Road resident called reporting a branch burning on a wire. NStar was notified and later removed the branch.
