Dover Police Log: Car on Fire and More

Cyclists hurt after colliding, gun shots or fireworks heard and a car on fire. All information is provided by the Dover Police Department. If an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, September 1

Bicycles Collide (9:09 a.m.) - A caller reported that two people on bicycles collided near the intersection of Pine St. and Centre St. and that they are injured. Both people were transported to Beth Israel-Needham. The bikes were placed in the garage for safe keeping and later picked up.

Car on Fire (11:43 a.m.) - A caller reported that a car was on fire on Tisdale Dr. Officers arrived and noted that the fire was minimal by the time they got there. They were able to put it out with a fire extinguisher.

Shots Fired? (10:50 p.m.) - Multiple callers reported hearing either gun shots or fireworks in the area of Hartford St. adn Draper Rd. Officers checked but were unable to find anything.
