Dover Police Log: Flashlight Bandit and Other Suspicious Activity

Friday, August 31

Keys Locked in Car (9:31 a.m.) - A caller reported that a Dover Market customer had locked their keys inside their car. An officer was able to help out by gaining access to the vehicle and retrieving the keys.

Suspicious Vehicle (7:41 p.m.) - A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in a driveway on Claybrook Rd. Officers checked the situation out and determined that hte vehicle belonged to a longtime worker for the family who lives in the home, so all was okay.

Flashlight Bandit (8:48 p.m.) - A Bretton Rd. resident called to report that there was someone with a flashlight in her backyard. Officers were dispatched and checked her yard and the surrounding area. They also checked the house and surrounding houses. The new construction behind the area was also checked, but nothing was found.
