Dover Police Log: Gas and Run

The following information was provided by the Dover Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, November 19

Gas and Run (9:17 a.m.) - The Mobil gas station attendant contacted the police after someone had gassed up and driven off without paying. The attendent had gotten the license plate number, so the police called the owner of the vehicle, who stated it was his son, but that he would contact the gas station. The Mobil attendant later spoke to the police and confirmed that the person had paid in full.

Logs Taken (11:31 a.m.) - A Hunt Dr. resident reported that someone had taken his freshly cut logs between November 6-18.

Tuesday, November 20

Barking Dog (8:30 a.m.) - A Tubwreck Dr. resident reported that their neighbor's dog had been barking for 30 minutes. The information was referred to the animal control officer.

Larceny (9:51 a.m.) - A resident of Strawberry Hill St. reported items valued at over $250 stolen from her home. There were no signs of forced entry. Detectives are investigating.
