Dover Police Log: Hurricane Sandy Response

The following information was provided by the Dover Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned there is no indication of a conviction.

Monday, October 29

The Dover Police Department received a large number of calls throughout the day about trees blocking roadways and trees falling into wires because of Hurricane Sandy. Police were in communication with the fire department and NSTAR throughout the day to assist with the calls.

Calls related to Hurricane Sandy continued throughout the day again. Police continued to respond to downed trees and power lines in the roadways.
