Dover Police Log: Traffic Cone Thieves

The following is from last Tuesday and Wednesday's Dover Police log. Where any arrests are mentioned, it does not mean a conviction has occurred.

Tuesday, August 28

Traffic Cone Thieves (1:45 p.m.) - A caller reported that a group of young girls got out of a minivan a took a number of traffic cones on Dover Rd. The caller was able to get the license plate number, and officers left a voicemail for the owner of the vehicle. The owner called back later and agreed to meet an officer and return the cones.

Traffic Cone Thief (3:44 p.m.) A person called to say they had witnessed an individual taking traffic cones on Dover Rd. An officer responded and the individual apologized, saying she thought the public could take them. She was advised that that was not correct.

Wednesday, August 29

Lost Dog (9:10 p.m.) A Knollwood Dr. resident called to say that they were missing their 6-year-old female golden retriever.
