Local Woman Finds Thief in Her Home

A few miles away in Westwood, a woman returned home to find her house being robbed.

In nearby Westwood, police have responded to three home robberies in less than two weeks. 

A woman returned to her Strafford Road home after an errand on Friday to find her house was being robbed in an ordeal she said left her "shocked," according to WCVB.com

The woman, who asked to be identified only as Patti, said the man limped away after threatening her and jumping over her home's second-story deck.

“I was screaming and then he told me to shut up in so many words or that he would blow my brains out,” Patti told WCVB. “And he kept telling me to shut up or he was going to shoot me.”

The thief carried away two laptop computers and opened drawers throughout the home but took nothing else, WCVB reports.
