Officers Receive Report of Brush Fire, Smoke Coming From Stove

The Dover Police Department provided the following information.

Saturday, March 30

1:22 a.m.: A caller on Oak Circle reported a vehicle with a loud engine in the area possibly doing "wheelies." The resident called later to report a black truck had just left the area headed toward Medfield. 

1:46 p.m.: A Centre Street caller reported a brush fire in the area. Firefighters responded to the scene. A brush fire permit had been issued for the address.

3:22 p.m.: A Fox Run Road caller reported noise and smoke from underneath the stove. The Fire Department reported electrical smell and light smoke. Fire crews determined it was an issue with an indoor electrical grill and shut off power to the device.

1:15 p.m.: A caller reported finding a lost dog on her property without tags. An officer transported the dog to the station. The owner later came to the station to pick up the animal.
