Officers Receive Report of Wires Down, Burning in Basement

The Dover Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Saturday, June 1

9:21 a.m.: Officers received a report of a bicycle crash on Cross Street. The bicycle's driver complained of rob pain and road rash and labored breathing. Ambulances transported the bicyclist to Beth-Israel in Needham.

Sunday, June 2

4:33 p.m.: A Strawberry Hill Street resident reported a tree fell in her yard bringing down wires. She also reported a burning odor in her basement. NStar responded and repaired the wires.

6:20 p.m.: A resident of Pine Street reported a rabid raccoon in her back yard. An officer responded and reported the raccoon is not rabid but fell out of a tree and is separated from its mother.
