Officers Respond to Car Hitting Deer, Car Hitting Tree Trunk

The Dover Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Friday, April 26

12:34 a.m.: Medfield police called Dover police looking for an erratic operator on Rte. 109 who nearly struck 2 vehicles in the opposite travel lane. Officers located the vehicle and operator in a Medfield driveway. 

6:31 a.m.: A mother reported her son hit a deer on te way to school on Pine Street. There were no injuries to the driver but the child was unable to wait for police to respond due to the child's bus leaving for a field trip.

8:03 a.m.: A person walked into the station to report a large tree branch hanging in the Bridge Street parking lot. When backing up, the limb went through the caller's back window. There were no injuries and the Highway Department will clean the glass and trim the tree.
