Officers Respond to Multiple Reports of Dog Attacks

The Dover Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Saturday, May 18

1:26 a.m.: Officers received a 911 call from a distraught female who said "they're coming" and hung up and responded the location of the call. Officers placed one person into protective custody and transported a patient to Beth Israel hospital for a foot laceration. 

1:36 p.m.: Officers received an animal complaint at Caryl Park involving an unleashed brown and black dog that attacked the caller's dog. A walk-in party later reported the same issue involving the dog attacking her non-aggresive service dog.

6:40 a.m.: A caller at the Dover-Sherborn High School reported that over the weekend someone entered buses, stood on drivers seats, rearranged tools inside the bus, turned on switches, changed clock times and adjusted the height of the mechanic's step. The caller said this was done to all the buses but there was no damage done. 

Officers spoke with the school resource officer who reported that there was a touch-a-truck event held at the school over the weekend.
