Dover

Animal Complaint- 2:53 p.m.

Springdale Avenue, Dover Market- Caller states a black and brown dog is in the Market vestibule.

Fire Alarm- 3:08 p.m.

Bretton Road- Burnt popcorn.

Sherborn

Utility Complaint- 10:10 a.m.

Forest Street- Report of a town sweeper hitting and snapping a telephone pole. As the sweeper was dumping the truck hit a wire causing the pole to snap.

9-1-1 Noise Complaint- 10:55 p.m.

Caller reported hearing ten shots in the area.

 

Tuesday- April 12, 2011

Dover

Animal Complaint- 9:41 a.m.

Village Hill Road- Caller stated that a neighbor's unfriendly dog has escaped its electric fence and was attempting to attack their dogs. Animal Control Officer notified. Officers check the area, found the dog and returned it to its home.

Fraud- 2:44 p.m.

Riga Road- Resident reported that customer service from her Discover card called to report numerous fraudulent transactions that have been placed on her card. Exact amount unknown. Transactions amounting to over $500 throughout the country. Card has been cancelled.

Sherborn

Traffic Enforcement- 11:26 p.m.

Maple Street- One written warning and two verbal warnings issued.

 

Wednesday- April 13, 2011

Dover

Well Being Check- 1:49 p.m.

Tubwreck Drive- Caller states that his intoxicated wife is trying to leave in her vehicle. Officers spoke to both parties.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 7:54 p.m.

Farm Street- Written warning to owner for stop sign violation.

Sherborn

Hazardous Conditions- 7:19 a.m.

Green Lane- Possible smoke coming from the orchard. Checked ok. Rain falling on ash from previous days burning.

Brush Fire- 10:22 a.m.

Lake Street- Caller reported a brush fire burning close to a shed.

 

Thursday- April 14, 2011

Dover

Harassing Phone Calls- 11:18 a.m.

Glen Street- Calling party reported that he received a call from a company identified as the U.S. Energy Audit Department. Company later stated that they were a private company. Party was advised not to release any personal information.

Animal Complaint- 7:38 p.m.

Strawberry Hill Street and Wilsondale Street- Reporting party stated that there was a deer stuck in a fence and is injured.

Disturbance- 9:59 p.m.

Wilsondale Street- Reporting party reported hearing screaming from the area.

Sherborn

Well Being Check- 1:41 p.m.

Kendall Avenue- Reports of a male walking towards Framingham in pajamas and a bathrobe. Gentleman walked over Framingham line. Framingham PD notified. Language barrier, gentlemen checked ok, out for a walk.

9-1-1 Suspicious Activity- 7:18 p.m.

Brush Hill Road- Reporting party requested police response to check the area behind their house. Reporting party stated that his daughter is home and can hear people out back. Foot patrol of area revealed no one on the property.

Continuing Investigation- 7:36 p.m.

Brush Hill Road- Follow-up for suspicious activity. Area checked ok.

 

Friday- April 15, 2011

Dover

Animal Complaint- 1:46 p.m.

Yorkshire Road- Calling party stated that a loose dog was running in the roadway. Officers check the area. Were unable to locate.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 3:48 p.m.

Farm Street- Written warning issued for speeding.

Sherborn

Complaint- 2:12 p.m.

South Main Street- Home owner cut down a tree that almost his a vehicle driving north on South Main Street. Officers spoke with homeowners and they stated that the branch didn't come close to any other vehicle.

9-1-1 Medical Emergency- 6:00 p.m.

Bogastow Brook Road- 3-year-old fell and injured her arm.

 

Saturday- April 16, 2011

Dover

Complaint- 3:28 p.m.

Springdale Avenue, Channing Pond- Party reported a man fishing where sign prohibits. Officer advised party to move along.

Brush Fire- 5:44 p.m.

Glen Street- Calling party reported that a resident on Glen Street did not properly extinguish a controlled brush fire from earlier in the day. Officer spoke with the resident and asked him to put out the fire.

Gun Shots- 8:05 p.m.

Tubwreck Drive- Calling party reports hearing gunshots in the area. Officers checked area. Nothing found.

Sherborn

Illegal Dumping/Trash- 3:37: p.m.

Morse Road- Reporting party stated that a vehicle sitting at the end of the street for some time. Party threw a bag of trash out the window. Reporting party picked up trash.

 

Sunday- April 17, 2011

Dover

Notification- 9:57 a.m.

Church Street- Resident stated that there was a violation of a restraining order. 

Animal Lost/Missing- 2:26 p.m.

Haven Street- Officer retrieved lost Border Collie. Owner notified.

Sherborn

Hazardous Conditions- 6:45 a.m.

Farm Road- Branch in roadway removed by officer. 

Animal Complaint- 5:19 p.m.

South Main Street- Caller reported a turkey that had been struck by a car.

 

Monday- April 18, 2011

Dover

Motor Vehicle Stop- 12:37 a.m.

Hartford Street- Written warning issued for a speeding violation.

Sherborn

Traffic Enforcement- 5:25 a.m.

Western Avenue- One citation issued.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 5:40 a.m.

Western Avenue- Arrest(s) made.
