Monday- Feb. 14, 2011

Dover

Assist Citizen- 8:20 a.m.

Fox Run Road and Donnelly Drive- Reporting party stated he is stuck in the snow and possibly blocking the roadway. Sergeant assisted the operator and the vehicle left the area.

Motor Vehicle Crash- 11:26 a.m.

Walpole Street- Reporting parted stated that there was a large boulder in the roadway. The rock was removed from the roadway. Officer reported one vehicle struck the rock and had damaged their oil pan. The car was removed by private tow.

Animal Complaint- 4:49 p.m.

Bogastow Brook Road- Information taken.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 8:05 p.m.

South Main Street and Lamplighter Lane- Court complaint issued for operating a motor vehicle with defective equipment, operating a motor vehicle without registration in possession, speeding, operating after revocation of registration, uninsured motor vehicle.

 

Tueaday- Feb. 15, 2011

Dover

Motor Vehicle Stop- 11:26 a.m.

Walpole Street and Hartford Street- Verbal warning issued for following a marked police cruiser too closely.

Motor Vehicle Stop, Arrest(s) Made- 11:38 p.m.

Church Street and Haven Street- Officer stopped vehicle matching stolen vehicle out of Sherborn. Two in custody. Vehicle towed by road side rescue. Parents arrived to pick up juvenile at 1:33 a.m. Owner recovered vehicle from tow yard.

9-1-1 Suspicious Activity- 4:17 a.m.

Washington Street- Resident stated that she heard a "loud bang" inside home approximately 30-minutes prior to call. All ok upon officers arrival.

Auto Theft- 11:19 p.m.

Washington Street- Reporting party stated she believes that her son has taken her car without permission. Area towns notified. Vehicle was located in Dover.

 

Wednesday- Feb. 16, 2011

Dover

Motor Vehicle Crash- 8:13 a.m.

Dedham Street- Needham PD reported a motor vehicle crash on Chestnut Street Bridge. Officer requested Dover Ambulance for party with chest pains due to stress of crash. Person was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Larceny over $250- 9:46 a.m.

NStar Electrical Facility, County Street- Workers reported that upon arrival they found copper wires cut.

Sherborn

Assist Other Agency-12:05 a.m.

South Main Street- Motor vehicle pursuit started in Medfield. Sherborn police assisted as vehicle with New York plates entered Sherborn. Operator in custody in Natick. Court complaint issued for failure to stop for a police officer while operating a motor vehicle, operating recklessly so as to endanger, stop sign violation, speeding violation, marked lanes violation, and disorderly conduct.

Alarm, Burglar- 5:24 a.m.

C&L Frosty, North Main Street- Checked ok.

 

Thursday- Feb. 17, 2011

Dover

Drug Law Violation- 1:17 a.m.

Hartford Street- Operator cited for speeding, seatbelt, and possession of marijuana. Three citations for seatbelt. One municipal citation for marijuana issued to passengers.

Carbon Monoxide Alarm- 4:00 p.m.

Edgewater Drive- Caller reported carbon monoxide alarm activation in the home. Caller advised to get out of the house until fire department clears the house. Fire department ventilated the house. All is ok.

Fire- 1:39 p.m.

Woodland Street- Referred to fire department.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 11:15 p.m.

Coolidge Street and Meadowbrook Road- Court complaint issued for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

 

Friday- Feb. 18, 2011

Dover

Medical Emergency- 7:27 a.m.

Hilltop Road- Party reported that an 88-year-old man has fallen and needs assistance. Party refused medical transport.

Utility Complaint- 9:02 p.m.

Old Meadow Road- Walk in reported a snapped utility pole. Officer reported that the top five feet of a utility pole is snapped and resting on a tree limb. NStar notified.

Suspicious Activity- 11:16 p.m.

Walpole Street and Centre Street- Reporting party stated that she was driving down Centre Street towards Walpole Street when a vehicle, believed to be a dark colored pick up truck, began to follow her. Reporting party stated that when she turned into the police station parking lot, the vehicle accelerated past her down Walpole Street towards Westwood.

Motor Vehicle Crash, Arrest(s) Made- 12:09 a.m.

Coolidge Street- Police arrested Marc T. Garnhum of 69 Alden Road in Holliston, MA for operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle so as to endanger, and marked lanes violation.

Prisoner/Person In Custody Release- 4:16 a.m.

Sherborn Police Station- Bailed/Released.

 

Saturday- Feb. 19, 2011

Dover

Erratic Operation- 2:02 a.m.

County Street- Medfield PD reported an erratic operator driving a dark colored SUV traveling towards Dover on Rt. 109. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate a vehicle matching the description.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 4:35 p.m.

Walpole Street and Cedar Hill Road- Written warning issued for speeding.

Sherborn

9-1-1 Animal Complaint- 3:58 a.m.

South Main Street and Lamplighter Lane- Officers assisted.

Burglar Alarm- 4:18 a.m.

Maple Street- Checked ok.

 

Sunday- Feb. 20, 2011

Dover

Erratic Operation- 11:03 a.m.

Bubbling Brook Restaurant, High Street- Calling party reported an erratic operator in the area of Bubbling Brook. Caller states she saw the vehicle hit a snowbank and put its hazard lights on. Caller stated the vehicle was a green Volkswagen. Walpole PD notified. Vehicle matching that description could not be found.

Fire- 11:39 a.m.

Miller Hill Road- Calling party reported a small electrical fire emanating from the bathroom heater, fire department dispatched. Fire department reported a small fire in the first floor bathroom ceiling fan. Fan disconnected, circuit break shut off.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 2:16 p.m.

Sherborn Citgo Fuel and Market, South Main Street- Citation issued.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 3:01 p.m.

Laurel Farms Recreation Fields, North Main Street- Court complaint.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 12:08 a.m.

Centre Street- Verbal warning issued for speeding.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 12:41 a.m.

Charles River, Centre Street- Verbal warning issued for red light violation, failure to stop.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 9:10 a.m.

Western Avenue- Citation issued.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 11:52 a.m.

Washington Street and Page Farm Road- Citation Issued.
