County Street- Resident states that he is concerned for his safety and the safety of his family. Officers issued a verbal no trespass warning to the involved party. 

9-1-1 Call- 3:01 p.m.

Chickering School, Cross Street- A child pushed the emergency button in the elevator. Unit verified that there was no problem.

Sherborn

Motor Vehicle Crash- 8:20 a.m.

Whitney Street at Western Avenue- Officers investigated.

9-1-1 Motor Vehicle Crash- 7:28 p.m.

Washington Street- Officers investigated.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 9:59 p.m.

South Main Street and Woodland Street- Arrest made.

 

Friday- Feb. 4, 2011

Dover

Medical Emergency- 7:27 a.m.

Pinewood Road- 9-1-1 call. 91-year-old female coughing up black liquid. Patient transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Needham.

Motor Vehicle Crash, Leave Scene, Property Damage- 9:46 a.m.

Dover-Sherborn Regional High School, Junction Street- Officer reports a motor vehicle crash. Hit and run. Property damage. The motor vehicle struck a parked car (no operator).

Prisoner Release- 12:05 a.m.

Sherborn Police Department- Bailed/Released

Motor Vehicle Crash- 7:14 a.m.

Lake Street and Eliot Street- Area checked. Gone on arrival.

 

Saturday- Feb. 5, 2011

Dover

Larceny under $250- 8:44 a.m.

Dover Mobil, Walpole Street- Party left without paying for $40.22 of gas. Vehicle operator called the police station. She states that she though her credit card was accepted by the pump. Officers advised her to return to Dover Mobil to make the payment.

Fire- 1:35 p.m.

Bryant Lane- Caller from Bryant Lane reports possible fire at neighbor's house. The caller smelled a strange odor and saw black smoke coming from the roof. Officer reports smoke coming from chimney, the house is supposed to be unoccupied and under construction. Forced entry made, fire extinguished.

Vandalism- 2:46 p.m.

Stonegate Lane- Reporting party states that her house was egged some time overnight.

Sherborn

9-1-1 Call- 11:30 a.m.

Western Avenue- Officers assisted.

9-1-1 Medical Emergency- 4:32 p.m.

Kendall Avenue- Officers assisted.

 

Sunday- Feb. 6, 2011

Dover

System Trouble- 3:44 a.m.

Dover Police Department, Walpole Street- Power was lost at 3:40 a.m. causing the radio receivers to fail for approximately three minutes. The fire horn also sounded when the generator came on. Officer reports lights in the center of town are out, including the traffic light.

Fire- 2:09 p.m.

Haven Street- Acetylene tank fell from a truck and caught fire. Fire dispatched. Fire Extinguished.

General Information- 4:21 p.m.

Walk-in reports two leaks in the Dover Town House at the selectmen's office and a large amount of water on the carpeting.

9-1-1 Medical Emergency- 3:28 a.m.

Everett Street- Serviced Rendered.

Motor Vehicle Crash- 12:29 p.m.

North Main Street and Coolidge Street- Officers investigated.

 

Monday- Feb. 7, 2011

Dover

Building Check- 12:49 a.m.

Powissett Street- Officer reports that the exit gate at the transfer station is damaged and is unable to be closed.

Suspicious Activity- 7:20 a.m.

Powder House Road- Reporting party states that there are three vehicles parked at the end of the cul de sac and that the three young operators are in one vehicle smoking something. Officer spoke with the youths and gave them a verbal warning.

Sherborn

9-1-1 Medical Emergency- 6:56 a.m.

Goulding Street East- Referred to Fire Department.

Fire- 10:28 a.m.

Butler Street- Referred to Community Maintenance and Development.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 12:53 a.m.

Washington Street and Sawin Street- Citation issued.
