Hartford Street- Written warning issued for speeding.

9-1-1 Hazardous Conditions- 4:58 p.m.

North Main Street and Eliot Street- Natick PD reported a truck lost two large pieces of plate glass. CM&D notified.

Erratic Operation- 8:06 p.m.

Nason Hill Road- Caller reported the vehicle in front of her was driving erratically and she could smell an odor of marijuana.

 

Tuesday- June 7, 2011

Dover

Suspicious Activity- 3:48 a.m.

Old Meadow Road- Reporting party stated that there is someone outside his house. Officers checked the area and spoke with the homeowner.

Harassment- 10:00 a.m.

Walpole Street- Resident requested information on obtaining a harassment prevention order. Party informed of criminal and court based options regarding third party actions.

Complaint- 8:53 p.m.

Cross Street- Reporting party reported a very large group of cyclists almost ran her off the road on Dedham Street.

Sherborn

Medical Emergency- 12:46 p.m.

Pine Hill Lane, Pine Hill School- Report of a child with a possible bone fracture.

 

Wednesday- June 8, 2011

Dover

Motor Vehicle Stop- 4:24 p.m.

Farm Street- Citation issued to the operator for no seatbelt. Verbal warning given for speeding.

Deer Hit or Killed- 10:59 p.m.

Walpole Street- Reporting party states that he struck a deer. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate the animal.

Sherborn

Suspicious Activity- 3:47 p.m.

Page Farm Road- Reporting party stated that a solicitor came to the door and was very pushy and stated that he was working for the Urban Mentor Project.

Complaint- 6:09 p.m.

Farm Road- Two males were soliciting magazines in the area. One was arrested on an arrest warrant.

 

Thursday- June 9, 2011

Dover

Hazardous Condition- 10:41 a.m.

Farm Street- Officer assisting with a road hazard (turtle in the roadway).

Suspicious Activity- 9:48 p.m.

Pine Street- Medfield PD reported a vehicle with approximately four youths driving on Pine Street smashing mailboxes. No suspicious vehicle was found on Pine Street.

Sherborn

9-1-1 Suspicious Activity- 6:00 p.m.

Lake Street and North Main Street- Caller reported that a 12-year-old male was running down Route 27 towards Natick flailing his arms. Reporting party stated that the boy appeared to be special needs. Also she reported that a male in a silver Acura pulled up along side the child. Natick PD notified.

 

Friday- June 10, 2011

Dover

Bicycle Complaint- 6:27 p.m.

Haven Street- Reporting party complained that around 6:00 p.m. a bicyclist yelled epitaphs at him. The bicyclist was riding towards Main Street.

Sherborn

Erratic Operation- 2:42 p.m.

South Main Street and Woodland Street- Vehicle reportedly pulled out speeding and almost hit another car.

Complaint- 9:18 p.m.

North Main Street- Caller reported youths smoking marijuana in front of the liquor store.

 

Saturday- June 11, 2011

Dover

Mutual Aid- 1:41 a.m.

County Street- Medfield PD was looking for a vehicle with a flat tire that fled the scene of a property that was damaged.

Larceny Over $250- 11:18 a.m.

Turtle Lane, Mass. Horticultural Society- Item reported missing from an antique show at Elm Bank.

Sherborn

Vandalism- 10:49 a.m.

Woodland Street- Caller reported that her mailbox and a light was damaged last night.

Shoplifting- 4:13 p.m.

South Main Street, Sherborn Citgo Fuel and Market- Report of shoplifting at approx. 12:45 p.m. Officers investigating plate information provided by store staff.

 

Sunday- June 12, 2011

Dover

General Information- 5:07 p.m.

Fox Run Road- Reporting party called asking if there were any reports of a baby bear sighting in the area because she saw a large animal in her garden.

Sherborn

Erratic Operation- 5:02 p.m.

North Main Street, C & L Frosty- Reporting party stated that a vehicle was "all over the road". Checked ok by officers. Operator was trying to locate something that had fallen.

 

Monday- June 13, 2011

Dover

Animal Complaint- 8:00 a.m.

Snow's Hill Lane- Resident reported being bitten on the back of his left lower thigh by  dog on the Snow's Hill Trail this morning. Victim and dog owner information taken.

Sherborn

Motor Vehicle Stop- 9:04 a.m.

Kendall Avenue- Citation issued to owner and operator.
